AI-LinkMO Knowledge Bundle

A LOKF knowledge base for AI-LinkMO. Every Markdown file under knowledge/ is one concept; together they form a queryable knowledge graph, derived from this repository’s code and docs.

The four access patterns (index):

  • AI-LinkMO CLI - The command-line tool (./ai) for querying AI governance data such as risks, taxonomies, controls, models, evaluations and crosswalks. The linkmo project generates it, with one command per class its exposure file names and one option per slot of that class in the LinkML schema.
  • FastAPI Backend - The REST API serving AI governance data to the CLI, the web UI and external GRC tooling. The linkmo project in ai-risk-ontology-linkmo/ generates its endpoints from the exposure file and the LinkML schema, and its contract is the server’s /openapi.json.
  • Svelte Web UI - Vite + Svelte 5 single-page application for exploring AI governance data through the FastAPI backend, aimed at non-technical stakeholders.
  • Neo4j Graph Database - Graph-database access pattern - the exported knowledge graph is loaded into Neo4j via Cypher for relationship analysis and regulatory crosswalks.
  • Datasette browse UI - Datasette over SQLite databases built from the schema’s gen-sqltables tables, one of the packaged data and one with the bring-your-own data added, served on port 8001 with schema-derived descriptions, facets, search and JSON and CSV exports.

Graph artifacts and BYOD framework encodings (index):

The external authorities the data encodes (index): AI Risk Ontology, FINOS AIGF, EU AI Act, FFIEC IT Handbook, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, NIST AI 600-1, NIST SP 800-53 r5, OWASP LLM Top 10, OWASP ML Top 10, SR 11-7

  • Knowledge sources map - The librarian’s scrape map: every repository location and external URL this bundle derives concepts from, and how to re-verify each on a refresh run.
  • Install and run AI-LinkMO - How to install AI-LinkMO and start its four doors (the CLI, the FastAPI backend, the Svelte web UI and the Neo4j graph database), then build the store, search it, browse it in Datasette and run the tests.
  • Bring your own data (BYOD) - How to add institutional governance data: schema-compliant YAML dropped into byo/data/ is picked up by the CLI, API and web UI with –byod, and by the YAML graph export, the store and the browse UI; the Cypher export refuses –byod.

The domain vocabulary (index): Taxonomy, Risk, Control / Action, Obligation, Crosswalk, Incident, Evaluation, Bring Your Own Data (BYOD)

(index)

  • Why linked AI governance - Why AI-LinkMO keeps AI governance as one catalogue of linked data behind four doors (the CLI, the API, the web UI and the graph database): the problems of governance kept in PDFs and spreadsheets, and why one shared ontology makes the traceability auditable.
  • What AI-LinkMO adds to AI Atlas Nexus - AI-LinkMO is a workshop built on IBM AI Atlas Nexus. It adds doors, encodings and checks but no ontology of its own, and its governance records carry no provenance yet.

Concepts 44

The bundle health page gives each concept’s label. The counts, computed from frontmatter when the site was built:

  • Confirmed by a person: 0 of 44
  • Checked by automation only: 44
  • Nobody has checked: 0
  • Drafts: 7
  • Reopened: 0
  • Past review date: 0
  • Edited since confirmed: 0
  • Retired: 0
  • concepts.jsonld: every concept’s frontmatter and body under one JSON-LD context.
  • graph.nt: the whole bundle as N-Triples.
  • graph.json: the typed relations as cytoscape.js elements, which the knowledge graph draws.
  • datasets.jsonld: a schema.org Dataset description for each Dataset or Table concept.
  • index.md: the bundle’s root file, which declares the header above.
  • log.xml: the bundle log as an Atom feed, its newest 20 days.
  • previews.json: each concept’s title, type, genre, trust label and definition, which a link to the concept shows before it is followed.
  • Each concept page links the concept’s own Markdown file and its JSON-LD, at the concept’s path with .md or .jsonld added.
  • The bundle as it stood at each release is a zip on the releases page.
