CLI examples: every entity type, one command away
Most of the commands below are test cases in lib/test/test_cli_examples.py, run in both API mode and local mode. --count prints the number of matches. Drop it to see the records. The CLI is generated from the schema and the exposure file, which names the classes it exposes, so ./ai <scope> -h lists one filter per slot of the class and is always current.
A few flags recur. --byod adds the bring-your-own-data frameworks under byo/data/ to the packaged ontology (see Bring your own data). --related returns the related records, and --related_ids returns only their ids. API mode, the default, sends each command through the running API. Local mode, --mode local, loads the ontology in-process.
Every command also takes --count, --pretty and --timeout SECONDS, and prints JSON, indented on a terminal and on one line in a pipe. AI_LINKMO_MODE=local makes local mode the default. API mode asks http://localhost:8000, or the URL in AI_LINKMO_API_URL. A URL on another host also needs AI_LINKMO_API_URL_ALLOW_REMOTE=1, so a stray variable cannot send your queries elsewhere. graph and inference take an id after the command, as a scope takes a record’s id.

Section titled “Export full Knowledge Graph”./ai graph --export --byod --countThe complete list of tested commands, with the count each is expected to return, is in lib/test/test_cli_examples.py. The two export commands write into graph/. The Cypher one downloads the export that ai-atlas-nexus publishes for the installed version, which is built from the packaged data alone, so --byod is refused with a 400 (see Neo4j).
